Privacy Policy
Summary
Deen Life has no accounts and we do not run servers that receive your data. Your settings, bookmarks, tasbih counts and reminders stay on your device. Some features contact the third-party services described below. We do not sell personal data.
Location
If you allow location access, Deen Life reads your device's location to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction on your device. Your precise location is not sent to us. To show local weather, an approximate position (rounded to about 10 km) is sent to Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com). You can use the app without location by choosing a city manually, and you can turn the permission off at any time in your device settings.
Notifications and alarms
Prayer, Jummah and dua reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Their content is never sent off the device.
Advertising
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which may also deliver ads from Unity Ads through mediation. These providers may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads, in order to show, measure and, where you allow it, personalise ads and to prevent fraud. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland) you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice later from Settings › Privacy & data. Purchases
The "Remove ads" purchase is handled by Google Play (or the App Store on iPhone). We do not receive your payment details; the app only receives confirmation of the purchase and stores the ad-free status on your device.
Online content
Qur'an recitation audio is streamed from everyayah.com and cdn.islamic.network, and weather from api.open-meteo.com. Like any website, these servers receive your IP address when the app requests content. All connections use HTTPS.
Data stored on your device
Preferences (theme, language, city, calculation settings), reminder settings, Qur'an and dua bookmarks, and tasbih counts. They are deleted when you clear the app's data or uninstall it. If Android backup is turned on, these preferences may be included in your Google account backup.
Children
Deen Life is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13.
